These partners have their own privacy policies and are expected to protect your data. Some, such as Shopify, may store data on servers outside India; where that happens, it is done as permitted by Indian law.

We may also share information if required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable security practices to protect your information, including:

  • SSL encryption (the padlock in your browser) on every page of our website.
  • Payments handled entirely by certified payment gateways, so we never store full card or UPI details.
  • Access to customer data limited to people who need it to fulfil orders or provide support.

No website is completely secure. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will inform you and the relevant authorities as required by law, and take steps to limit the harm.

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy. Order, invoice and tax records are kept for the period required under tax and accounting laws. Other data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, or when you ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You have the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access: ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
  • Correction and updating: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information. You can also update most details yourself in your account.
  • Deletion: ask us to delete your personal data, except where we must keep it by law (for example, invoices).
  • Withdraw consent: stop marketing messages or withdraw any consent you gave, as easily as you gave it. This does not affect processing already done.
  • Grievance redressal: raise a complaint about how we handle your data. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once the relevant provisions are in force.
  • Nominate: nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to do so.

To use any of these rights, email [EMAIL ADDRESS] with the subject "Privacy Request". We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children

Our store is meant for people aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please use the store only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children without verifiable parental consent, and we do not track or send targeted ads to children. If you believe a child has shared data with us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on our website.
